Brinkworth Dairy
Description
Nestled in the heart of the Dauntsey Vale, their cows graze for around 240 days each year on traditional, lush pastures – producing rich, flavourful milk at their own gentle pace.
Today, the herd remains deliberately small, allowing us to care for each animal individually and keep stress to a minimum.
Ceri is the fifth generation of the family to continue the cheesemaking tradition here on the farm. In 2005, she brought back to life the historic Wiltshire Loaf – once mentioned by Jane Austen in Emma – which went on to win Best Territorial Cheese at the British Cheese Awards.
They now craft a distinctive range of five farmhouse cheeses.
